Almost a Berverly Hillbilly!!!!!

Today, we arrived in what we had hoped would be Michel's home for the next 3 weeks (a lovely little campground called Saltwater Farm in Thomaston, ME - just a few miles from Rockland), and found out that we may not be able to stay for the entire 3 weeks.  We just need to talk to the owners when they get back tomorrow.

I wasn't worried about this as what good business person would turn down a guaranteed 3 weeks of revenue when most campgrounds are not full during the weekdays?

Then we went to our campsite for the night and in the process of driving a peg into the ground, I hit crude, black gold, texas tea that is (http://www.evtv1.com/player.aspx?itemnum=7387).  Oh, noooooooooo..............yah, not that lucky.  It was the water line to our tap.  The nice host of the campground had to shut the water off to most of the campground to stop the leak and do a temporary fix until tomorrow when he could get the right parts to fix it properly.

Just look at the devastation that a small tent peg can wreak on a PVC water line.........

What are the chances that the owners will be predisposed to help us out by letting us stay now?  I think Michel and I will be looking for a new campground tomorrow.

Wish us luck!
